Y E L R I H S (Shirley backwards) is an Asian Canadian electronic music producer, DJ, composer, and live electronic performer based in Edmonton, Alberta, specializing in techno and progressive electronic sound design. As a live performer, she focuses on hybrid electronic sets integrating live looping and instrumentation, bridging the worlds of electronic and live performance. She has further developed her practice through mentorship with international artists Saytek (live electronic performance), TJ Lawton, and Mini Bear, deepening her approach to expressive, performance-forward electronic music.
Driven by kindness and community, Y E L R I H S’s accomplishments include being featured on Blond:ish’s Abracadabra TV and reaching #1 on Beatport with Robots Love to Dance (Dubtrxx).
